Mixing

So I’m taking a little bit of a break from writing. And by break I mean not spending as much time writing but not stopping completely.

So what am I doing with my time. Well, I’ve started working on Stargazers again. Granted I can only mix scenes in 1-2 hour bursts, but I am making some definite progress. I am hoping to have the next episode done in the next week or two. All the lines are lined up and now I just have to go through and add sound effects and equalize everything. You podcasters and mixers know what I’m talking about. That’s the joy of audio drama.

Well just wanted to let you know what I was up to. Hope you all are having a great summer.

Just a quick update, I was at a chat for The Creative Alliance and got to be interviewed by Jennifer Hudock, author of Goblin Market. I kind of turned the tables on her and got to ask her some of my questions that I didn’t get to ask in the interview with David and myself.

So check out the interview here: http://jennybeans.net/2010/06/16/an-exclusive-interview-with-laura-frechette/

Next post I should have an update on my health status, provided that my doctor actually gives me information.

There has been a lot of new things by me that have come out since I’ve been home. Read the rest of this entry »
