Sorry for the delay folks this month has been a whirlwind of activity for me. So let’s start off with the holiday, Independence Day, or for everyone else… July 4th. I got the oppurtunity to actually get away and go for a long walk to Cedar Swamp a few miles away from where I live. It was a good workout. I got to meet one of the local firemen who let me re-fill my water bottle at the station on the say back home. Here is my blog from that day.
So the day after I had the day off that Monday and decided to go and visit the wonderful David Ault and the charming Marleigh Norton, fellow voice actors from various audio drama sites. We went to Georges Island, a few miles off shore from Boston Harbor and had a fantastic time mucking up history. Here is the first video of the series, the rest you have to see on my YouTube Page.
As I stated in the Open Mic video I was working on Stargazers Episode 2. It is now complete and ready to be listened to. Check it out at www.gypsyaudio.org/stargazers. I want to thank some of our guest voices who really came through for us: Michael Stoke and Dave Frizzell who were the first to respond when we were missing lines. P.G Holyfield and Spinderfly are friends of mine through Twitter and the podcast novelist sector and they really came through for me when I was in a pinch. I also want to thank M.J. Coburn who had recorded lines for the Lady’s Maid, but I didn’t find them until after the show had been put together. No worries, MJ. I will find a part for you if you still want one.
On a more personal note: I have been very ill since November that had not been diagnosed until a couple of weeks ago. Not wanting to go into the gorey details, now that they have figured out what is wrong, they can treat me. The treatment however will involve surgery in the near future. I know that ”surgery” is a scary word, but I am not afraid. It is a procedure that will save my life and help me to feel better than I have in almost a year. I will give you all more details as I find them out. Thank you all for being patient with me and my infrequent updates. Can you believe it has been a year since this site went up?
That’s all for me. Catch you all on the interwebs!
